ANNUAL CROP DROP
The Annual Thrivent Crop Drop will be held Saturday, Nov 22nd at Grace Lutheran in Destin.  80,000 pounds of produce will be bagged and distributed to surrounding churches and organizations that serve those in need.  Following the event will be a Harvest Festival with food, games, music and more!! ROAD TO RECOVERY
The local chapter of American Cancer Society is in need of volunteers to help drive patients to and from appointments and treatments.  You can volunteer one time or as often as you want.  Please consider helping someone in need.

BE AN ADVOCATE FOR A CHILD
Be an abused and/or neglected child's voice through the "system." Advocate for a child who has already been removed from his/her home due to abuse and/or neglect. SWCC ANNUAL BEACH CLEAN-UP
Every year the South Walton Community Council sponsers an Independence Day Beach Clean-Up on July 5th. BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF SOUTH WALTON
The Boys and Girls Club is always in need of volunteers!  One of their biggest needs would be assisting students with their homework. This would be in the learning center from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, and at times lasting until 5pm. Kids love seeing new adult faces and getting to know them is very important. Located at 427 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 (Behind Coastal Library), 850-622-0602.  Hours: 10:00am-6:00pm (students are here @ 2:45pm-6:00pm)
